Frequently Asked Questions - Bouncy Castle Hire Sheffield
Q: What areas do you deliver to?
A: We're based in Sheffield and provide Bouncy Castle, Hot Tubs, Inflatable Nightclub & Disco Dome hire in Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Chesterfield and Worksop.
Q: How do I make a booking?
A: You can either give us a call on 0114 2884673, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, through the contact us form on our website. *NEW* We are now pleased to announce we are also able to take bookings online, just click the book now button on the page of the item you wish to hire.
Q: How much notice do I need to give to book a castle?
A: As much notice as possible. During busy times we book up well in advance so let us know as soon as you have a date in mind, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Q: Do you charge for cancellation?
In most cases we don't charge a cancellation charge, so long as you give us notice the night before 6pm, so that we can hire the castle out to somebody else. If you give us no or very little notice (other than for very bad weather) then you may be liable to a £25 charge.
Q: When the equipment is delivered, do I have to set it up myself or do you do it?
A: The delivery person will completely set up the castle, give you a demonstration on how to use it safely and then leave it in your control. At the end of the hire we will return and pack all equipment away.
Q: How do you inflate the bouncy castle when you have
delivered it? Will I be able to put it down?
A: Our bouncy castles are inflated using electric fan blowers.
They are simply plugged into a suitable socket in your house or out building;
we supply long extension cables with all castles so you don't need a socket
nearby. To deflate the castle, simply unplug the fan and it will slowly
collapse but please ensure the castle is empty when you do this.
Q: What happens if it’s raining or particularly bad
weather on the day of the booking?
A: If there are poor weather conditions on the day of your hire (rain, wind, etc.) we will call you on the day to discuss whether the castle can be used safely. All our castles come with a sewn in weather cover, so be assured a few light showers won't stop play.
Q: How much space do I need for a bouncy castle?
A: The dimensions of our castles are shown in our gallery page,
please also allow an additional 5 feet both back and front and at least 2 feet
at the sides.
Q: What kind of access do you need when you deliver
A: We bring the castles on a trolley so we just need to be able
to get to the area you wish to have it set up.
Q: Can the bouncy castles go indoors?
A: Yes the bouncy castles can go indoors but you must check the
height of the ceiling before booking. The ceiling must be higher than the height
of the castle booked. The heights of all our castles are on our website.
Q: Are you fully insured?
A: We carry 2 million pounds worth of public liability cover,
however as per our terms and conditions (click here) we cannot be held liable
for any injuries caused whilst the castle is in your care. You are the sole
person responsible for the castle and its use and therefore should anything
happen, you are liable to a claim as the hirer. Our Public Liability covers US
against set up faults or faulty equipment etc.
Q: How many children/adults are allowed on the castle?
A: Each castle has different limits. Please note children's
castles should never be used by heavier adults, remember the hirer is
responsible for any damage.
Q: Is it ok to put a bouncy castle on my lawn, will it
cause much damage?
A: We actually prefer to put the bouncy castle on a lawn area.
For safety reasons we must hammer in 6 securing pegs to hold the castle down
during use. The castle will have a ground sheet placed under it so the grass
will not come to any harm. The holes left over from the securing pegs will
disappear after a few days.
Q: Can you put a bouncy castle on a concrete floor?
A: We prefer not to for safety reasons. If you have no
alternative surface then please tell us this during booking so that we can
arrange for sand bags to be in the vehicle when we deliver the castle.
Q: How long do I get the keep the bouncy castle?
A: We usually deliver the castles first thing in the morning and
then collect them later on that day. If you want it for more than one day
please mention this when you book, this will of course be reflected in the

castle to try to make extra money. As the hirer you are liable for any damages.
Q: How many children can fit in a bouncy castle?

really depends on the size of the children and the castle.

a safe day of fun?
